Our History

Like many hard working journeyman pattern makers of their day, Ed Korten and Art Kuhn made the decision to start a foundry. And since 1922, the year Reliable Castings was founded, multiple generations of many different families have graced Reliable with experience and dedication. Of our 200 plus employees, 15% represent relation to an original founder or associate. Our beginnings in the industrial heart of Cincinnati, OH were complimented by the purchase of our Sidney, OH facility in 1986. Today, our operations cover 325,000 square feet on 42 acres of property.
